THAILAND YOGA & MASSAGE ADVENTURE INCLUDES:

DAILY SCHEDULE:

June 17 - Depart Los Angeles or San Francisco. Ever tried yoga in a 747? Sensei’s got the balance but can you hang? Or just kick back, watch a movie or two on your personal screen and make the most of the open bar all the way to Bangkok.

June 18 - Arrive in Bangkok in evening. Transfer to Buddy Lodge Hotel. Explore Khao San Road area (a famous road in the heart of Bangkok with bustling entertainment and shopping)...enjoy the party atmosphere.

June 19 - We will start out by visiting Wat Pho for a traditional Thai herbal massage. Then we will go to the Reclining Buddha and the Grand Palace. Yoga and meditation at our hotel this afternoon.

June 20 - Today is our first full day in Thailand and we will journey outside of Bangkok to the ancient city of Ayathaya. There we will visit historic temples that date back to the early days of Thai civilization. At lunchtime we will head over to the Choa Phra river where we will board the Shangri la yacht for a gourmet lunch buffet and three hour cruise down the river back to Bangkok. This is a great chance to see the Thai landscape. Out door meditation and yoga on the pool deck of our hotel this evening. We will then go see authentic Thai Boxing matches at one of the two world famous stadiums.

June 21 - Today we will take a one-hour flight from Bangkok to Ko Samui island. You’ll know you’re in the tropics when you land at the exotic airport with open air thatched huts and tropical gardens. From the airport we will transfer to the dock where we will catch a ferry to Ko Phangan island. We will do a special breath meditation workshop to learn the five breath patterns of Warrior Yoga. The afternoon is free to explore Ko Phangan Island and all of its secrets. Yoga and meditation overlooking the beach in the evening. Go to the beach party in the evening which is in full force every night...

June 22 - Today you will wake up in paradise. Go for a morning swim and wander around our new home. In the afternoon you can check out the scene at the popular Had-Rin beach (home of the famous full-moon parties). We will have a special workshop on yogic philosophy over lunch and Yoga and meditation back at the Phangan Buri Resort & Health Spa overlooking the beach this evening.

June 23 - Today Sensei will teach the first of three massage classes. In this introductory three-hour class you and a partner will both give and receive an hour-long massage. You will discover the innate powerlines that allow your massage practice to be effortless and healing for both the practitioner and the client. Then take a break to chill at the beach before coming back for some more yoga and meditation in the evening. Out to the main beach for the nightly party...

June 24 - Today will go on a private bus adventure into the center of the island to the Nam Tok Phaeng waterfalls. On the way back we’ll chill at Mae Hat beach. We will have a wonderful authentic Thai dinner at the Tom Young Ka Restaurant on top of a beautiful mountain overlooking the sea at sunset. Yoga and meditation this evening at Buri Resort. Out to the main beach for the nightly party...

June 25 - Today we hit Had-Rin beach for a wonderful day of sun and surf...yoga games and beach time. Sensei will teach level 1 of his QUANTUM JUJITSU assault prevention class. Break for the afternoon and more yoga and meditation this evening.

June 26 - Today Sensei will teach an intermediate massage class. This time you and your partner will improve your massage skills buy studying and applying the intermediate techniques of RESTORATION MASSAGE THERAPY. This class will focus on a powerful rhythmic combination of hand, forearm, and elbow techniques. Then go off and do your thing before more yoga and meditation in the evening. Tonight is the infamous Half-Moon party at Had-Rin Beach!

June 27 - Today Sensei will teach level 2 of his QUANTUM JUJITSU assault prevention class. Where you will develop the skills of self-awareness and the more physical aspects of self-defense. You will have the afternoon free to frolic around the island before we meet up again for yoga and meditation this evening.

June 28 - Today we will join other young travelers for a boat trip along the north coast of Ko Phangan island. We will snorkel over a coral reef, hike to jungle waterfalls with pools for swimming and chill on remote beaches. Yoga and meditation tonight back at Buri Resort.

June 29 - Today Sensei will teach the final RESTORATION MASSAGE THERAPY, advanced massage class. You and a partner will learn new and advanced massage techniques with a focus on detoxifying power-point and pressure-point release, as well as give and receive massages in this four-hour class. You have the afternoon free to lie on the beach and swim in the warm tropical water. Tonight we will do yoga and meditation by torchlight on the beach.

June 30 - Today is our last day on the islands. Make the most of it by doing whatever makes you happy. We will then transfer back to Bangkok for one last night at the Buddy Lodge Hotel and the nightlife of Khao San Road.

July 1 - Today we take our flight home. Arrive in Los Angeles or San Francisco the same day.
